Mustang Residences Gilbert, AZ

The Mustang Residences is a 4.4 ac low-rise development of 30.5 du/ac. An infill project, the ownership and design team conducted exhaustive neighborhood outreach with a focus on a collaborative approach over the entitlements process. In concert with local stakeholder concerns the Mustang Residences were shaped by neighboring sight lines, materiality input, and form/typology feedback. Over the course of several public forums and outreach campaigns the project took shape to meet not only jurisdiction requirements, but also to maximize the satisfaction of a concerned community.
Mustang’s one and two bedroom units account for nearly all 134 du’s. Tightly parked, the project makes use of every bit of site area to include resident amenities and robust tree zones along single-family residential neighborhood borders.
